Loans and Federal Aid
Students can apply, for federal aid and student loans to attend the program though Richmond, The American International University in London, as the degree program is an Accredited American degree recognized by the relevant US agencies.
Students are eligible for Federal Aid and other loans, as they would if attending an American University within the USA. Some scholarship awards based on their academic ability may be available.
Football Scholarships
RIASA does not offer football scholarships in the first instance. Admittance into the program is a first step towards a possible scholarship based on performance against professional youth academies in showcase games and the academy itself after evaluation by the coaching staff.
As a highly selective program, the true cost of the program is already subsidized. Students gaining admittance have already secured a partial scholarship given the cost of attending the same, academic only, program of Richmond University in London.
Students in order to deflate the costs of attendance are able to earn money either in the work place or on the football field as they are eligible to work 20 hours per week and if eligible to be paid to play at semi professional clubs.
