Students at RIASA discuss their Experience and their Favorite Professors.

Four RIASA students from three different countires discuss their  experience at RIASA.

Loren Urtula. (USA) Creative writing with Colin Howley is my favorite class because it gives me and opportunity to express myself and explore my creativity. My favorite professor is Earnest Ampadu because he conducts his classes in way to learn while having fun. On my spare time I like to play FIFA and go to the gym or go down to the Box with Gonzo and play pool. I went on the Amsterdam trip and have been all over the Yorkshire area. I am really looking to expand my opportunties to travel in the coming year.

Tyson Newell: (Canada) My Favorite class so far is Management 304 with Colin Howley. It is very business oriented and practical. My Favorite professor is Ian Lawrence because he is very knowledgeable and academically involved in football. When I am not studying or training I enjoy watching movies. My favorites include Inception, Memento, Godfather I & II, and Rebel Without a Cause. I also have become a fan of the TV series Friday Night Lights. Since living in Leeds I have traveled to Holland, Spain, Scotland. Within England I have visited London, Manchester, Liverpool, and York.

Viktor Baslis. (Slovakia) Lucia Morawska is my favorite professor because I enjoy her lectures and they are very interesting. She is very enthusiastic about topics. Sport Management and Governance 210 is my favorite class because it is about football and management is something I would like to do in the future. When not studying or training I play FIFA, go to the gym, play tennis, or go down to the shops in Leeds City Centre. I went to Amsterdam with RIASA and in England I have been to Manchester, London, and Cardiff. Over winter break I traveled to Africa and was in Zanzibar and Tanzania.

Christian Eissele:  (Florida- USA):Favorite Professor: Ian Lawrence in my favorite because he engages in his teaching and has a passion for what he is speaking about. I find both sport classes, which he teaches to be very interesting. My favorite class is Management and Governance 210 because I see myself having a future down the road in sport management. I like to play tennis, read, board games (beat CJ in Monopoly), play FIFA on Xbox with Nick, and learning how to cook. I have been to Scotland twice, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Sheffield, the Lake District, and hopefully Paris soon.
